Information:

Vada Mae “Billie” Lum, WASP (Women’s Airforce Service Pilots) class 44-W-9, first started taking flight lessons at Cimmaron Field in Yukon, OK after Pearl Harbor. Trained to be a WASP in 1944. Not sure how she came into possession of this flight suit. She flew planes privately and was commanding officer of the local Civil Air Patrol as a second lieutenant after the war. Also ran a barber shop in Yukon for 66 years until retiring in 1994. She passed away 4 years later. Unsure of what the Kanji says on the tag. Love all the small details and shape of this suit. Check pictures and measurements before purchase.
