Rare first pattern with hook clasps, similar to those seen on early USN N-1 Jackets (the famed navy blue one). Wartime contract NXss 23392, which dates to May 1944. These were made of cotton canvas and treated with a synthetic resin to make them more resistant to wet weather, hence the name. Worn and weathered look that I think works for the type of jacket it is. Stains pictured. Tagged a size Large but fits like an XL. Check measurements and pictures before purchase.
