Aran, or fisherman’s sweaters, started being made in Ireland around the 17th century. This is a lot newer than that but still old. They started getting popular in the 50’s and 60’s. This one dates to the latter. Love these, especially the ones directly from Ireland and not JCPenney. Check pictures and measurements before purchase.
