For a sailor on the USS Midway, commissioned in 1945 and the biggest aircraft carrier in the world for a decade after. Began annual deployments to the far east starting in 1958 until early 1966, where it was then modernized and eventually returned to Vietnam in 1971. Was involved in the evacuation of Saigon in 1975. A lotta history surrounding this ship, which makes this jacket even better. It saw constant use until being decommissioned in 1991. Some wear shown. Check pictures and measurements before purchase.
