1970’s USAF Jungle Jacket Medium Long Silver Star Recipient

Major Laurence Bustle received the silver star while acting as a forward air controller over North Vietnam, getting damaged from anti-air fire but still marking two targets for other fighters to clean up. After Vietnam, he served as a test pilot at Elgin AFB and retired in 1984 as a colonel, serving as mayor of Palmetto later on and was involved in local politics in Manatee County Florida. Shirt has some rotting from rust pictured. Hasn’t been washed due to this. Check pictures and measurements before purchase. Here’s links to more information on Bustle below.
